Flamingo Lake Walk

Join a guided walk from the camp to Lake Natron, one of the most remarkable natural wonders of the Rift Valley and the main breeding ground for the endangered Lesser Flamingo.

The best time to visit is in September and October, during the breeding season, when flamingos lay their eggs at the end of the dry season. The peak of hatching occurs in December, offering an impressive spectacle as the grey chicks grow strong enough to be led to fresh water by their parents.

This unique experience provides an incredible opportunity to witness the life cycle of these beautiful birds in their natural habitat, making it a must-see destination for birdwatchers and nature lovers.
