Itinerary
Tarangire National Park
Your safari adventure kicks off today! We’ll pick you up from your hotel in or around Arusha for a scenic 2.5-hour drive, where you’ll take in the stunning landscapes, vibrant nature, and local communities. Upon arriving at Tarangire National Park, enjoy a full-day game drive in a park known for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and unique tree-climbing African pythons.
As the day comes to an end, we’ll head to Africa Safari Lake Manyara for an overnight stay. This authentic stay offers a chance to reconnect with nature and embrace the adventure. Before settling in, take a refreshing dip in the pool to relax and unwind.
Serengeti National Park
We set off towards the legendary Serengeti, arriving at the park gate after a scenic drive. After a delightful lunch, we embark on an exciting afternoon game drive, exploring the park’s stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. The Serengeti is renowned for its diverse habitats, from lush forested areas to vast open savannahs, and for hosting the awe-inspiring Great Migration, where around 1.5 million herbivores and their predators traverse the plains in search of water.
For the next two nights, you’ll stay at Africa Safari South Serengeti, ideally located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This prime location provides easy access to the Ngorongoro Crater and is conveniently positioned on the southern side of Lake Ndutu, just outside Serengeti National Park. Experience the perfect blend of both worlds!
Serengeti National Park
During your adventure, you’ll also visit the Lake Ndutu area, known for its rich diversity of wildlife, including the “Big Cats.” You may spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, caracals, servals, and African wildcats in their natural habitats.
Ngorongoro Crater
Start your day early with a hearty breakfast before heading to the remarkable Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. Home to an estimated 30,000 large mammals, this unique ecosystem is a haven for wildlife, offering exceptional opportunities to spot the famed Big Five, including the rare African Black Rhino, along with hyenas, zebras, elephants, and more. The crater’s natural borders create a thriving habitat, making it one of Tanzania’s top wildlife destinations.
After an exhilarating day in the crater, you’ll retreat to Africa Safari Lake Manyara, a serene lodge nestled near the lake and surrounded by abundant wildlife. This picturesque location offers the perfect end to a day of adventure in the African wilderness.
Lake Manyara National Park
Today, we head to the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views, serene waterfalls, crystal-clear babbling brooks, and natural hot springs. The highlight of the day is a full-day game drive, where you’ll experience the park’s diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes.
For a more immersive experience, consider booking an optional 2-hour walking safari. Walking on foot offers a unique perspective, allowing you to witness the wonders of Africa up close and connect with nature in a deeper way.
