Africa Safari Selous is located just outside Selous Game Reserve/Nyerere National Park in Tanzania, close to the iconic Rufiji River. The lodge is conveniently accessible via a nearby airstrip, with a quick 30-minute flight from Zanzibar or a 35-minute flight from Dar es Salaam. For those traveling by road, the lodge is about a 6-hour drive from Dar es Salaam.
The Banda Bungalows are nestled in a forest setting and feature one king-size bed and one single bed, with the option for an extra single bed. Each bungalow includes an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, European toilet, and washbasin, along with ample storage space. Relax on the terrace while enjoying a book or reviewing your safari photos. The exterior boasts a traditional design, while the interior offers a cozy retreat.
The air-conditioned Pool Bungalows are located around the pool and accommodate 4 to 6 guests with various layouts, including a king-size bed and bunk beds. These spacious bungalows, featuring an indoor seating area, are ideal for families or small groups traveling together. Each ensuite bathroom includes a walk-in shower, toilet, and washbasin.
The Safari Tents offer a basic yet comfortable experience, featuring two single beds and a small seating area outside. Enjoy the thrill of camping while surrounded by the stunning nature of Selous.
