Africa Safari Serengeti Kogatende enjoys an exceptional location close to the Mara River Crossing, one of the northern Serengeti’s most iconic wildlife areas. Between July and October, the landscape transforms into a dramatic stage for the Great Migration, as vast herds of wildebeest and zebra gather at the riverbanks and attempt the crossing, under the watchful presence of crocodiles and big cats.
Outside of this season, the surrounding riverine woodlands and seasonal floodplains continue to sustain life, providing a reliable water source that attracts wildlife throughout the year.
Situated south of the Mara River, the camp lies within sweeping grasslands framed by low hills and striking rock formations. Open plains, dotted with scattered kopjes, create a classic Serengeti setting and offer excellent game viewing in every direction.
The lodge features luxury glamping and spacious family tents, each thoughtfully designed with en-suite facilities, comfortable seating areas, and private verandas overlooking the wilderness. At the heart of the camp, the dining and bar tent provides a warm and welcoming social space, while a swimming pool is planned to offer a refreshing retreat with expansive views across the Serengeti plains.
