• How long does a Balloon Safari take?  

The flight usually takes 1 hour, subject to weather conditions. Once on land, enjoy breakfast with a delicious selection of products on a curated bush area.   

• At what time does the balloon take off? 

The balloon will take off at around 06:30 am subject to weather conditions. You will leave the lodge around 4:00 am – 5:00 am.  

• How much does the Balloon Safari cost in Tanzania? 

A balloon safari costs 599 USD per person, tax inclusive.  

• What type of clothes to wear?  

It is recommended to bring warmer clothes as it can be chilly in the morning. Make sure to bring several layers, as temperature will increase progressively.   

• Book on-site or in advance? 

Hot Air Balloon safaris are among the most popular activities at Serengeti, so they are often filled quickly. To secure your spot, make sure to place your reservation in advance.  

• What happens if the weather conditions are not appropriate?
