The start of your adventure
Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, your driver will take you to your beachfront resort, where you will check in and begin your tropical holiday. Spend your days sunbathing on the white sandy beaches, relaxing by the pool or enjoying a refreshing cocktail at the Jetty Bar with stunning views of the Indian Ocean.

Take a leisurely stroll along the beach, feel the soft white sand beneath your feet and listen to the soothing sound of the waves breaking on the shore. Whether you opt for a quiet morning walk at sunrise or a peaceful stroll at sunset, the beach offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Discover the Selous Game Reserve / Nyerere National Park
Start your day with an early breakfast before being transferred to the airport for a scenic bush flight to the Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park), Africa’s largest protected wildlife area. Upon arrival, your experienced safari guide will take you on a full-day game drive deep into the vast savannahs, forests and riverbanks. Selous is home to an astonishing variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras and the rare African wild dog. With over 350 species of birds and reptiles, this reserve is a paradise for nature lovers. At the end of the day, you will return to Africa Safari Selous, where you can listen to the sounds of the bush under a starry sky.
Selous – A magical experience in southern Tanzania
Rise early for a guided bush walk, where an experienced ranger will introduce you to the smaller wonders of the African wilderness. Learn to recognise animal tracks, discover medicinal plants and hear about local conservation initiatives as you walk through this unspoilt landscape. Later, take a boat safari on the Rufiji River, where you will have the rare opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles and a wide variety of bird species from the water. This unique perspective offers an even deeper appreciation for Selous’ diverse ecosystem. Spend another night at Africa Safari Selous, reminiscing about the day’s impressive encounters.
Back to paradise!
After breakfast, you will make a short transfer to Selous Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your beach resort, where you can relax and recharge your batteries for the next three days. Whether you choose to sunbathe on the white sand, enjoy a soothing massage or take part in exciting excursions, Zanzibar has something for everyone. Options include a traditional dhow cruise at sunset, deep-sea fishing or exploring the colourful underwater world with diving or snorkelling. Spend your evenings sampling fresh seafood while enjoying breathtaking views of the ocean.
Relaxation Day
Join an optional tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers a fascinating insight into Zanzibar’s rich history and cultural influences. Wander through narrow alleys lined with historic buildings, visit the old slave market and discover lively markets full of handmade souvenirs, fragrant spices and traditional textiles.
Day at leisure
Take an optional boat trip to Mnemba Atoll, a world-renowned destination for snorkelling and diving. Here you can explore colourful coral reefs teeming with tropical fish, sea turtles and other marine life in crystal-clear waters. Even if you prefer to stay on board, the trip itself is a magical experience.
Return home
As your unforgettable beach and safari holiday draws to a close, your driver will take you to Zanzibar Airport for your return flight home.
